Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 10, 2026

Jobbii (“Jobbii”, “we”, “us”), operated by Code Slice LLC, is an AI-powered hiring platform that helps job seekers and employers in United States find each other. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using Jobbii, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service:

  • Account information — your mobile phone number and/or your email address. We sign you in with a one-time code sent to WhatsApp, by SMS, or to your email. We do not use passwords.
  • Job-seeker profile — your name, city, career field and role, experience level, skills, work history, education, languages, certifications, salary expectations, availability, date of birth, gender, answers to standard screening questions, self-tested skill results, an optional profile photo, and any CV you upload or generate.
  • Employer profile — company name, industry, city, size, description, logo, a contact person, an email and phone used to receive applications, and the hiring address and apply page you activate.
  • Applications and hiring records — the applications you send or receive, your message and your answers to the employer’s questions, private notes an employer writes about an application, a record of what happened to it and when, arranged interview times, and any offer that is sent, including the terms and the offer document itself.
  • Hire records — when an employer confirms a hire, the start date and first-day instructions they enter, whether the employment later ended and an optional note about why, and a checklist ticking which documents the employer holds on file. Jobbii records only that a document is held; we never ask for or store the document itself.
  • AI screening interviews — if an employer has turned this on for a job and you choose to take the call, we record the call and keep the recording, a written transcript, and the score and summary produced from it.
  • Interview practice — the coaching conversation you have with Jobbii to prepare for a job, and the written summary at the end.
  • Emails sent to an employer’s Jobbii address — the message, the sender’s name and address, and any attached CV, so it can appear in that employer’s inbox.
  • Payments — a record of the credits you buy, the amount, the currency, the service fee where one applies, and a reference from the payment provider. Card and bank details are entered on the payment provider’s own page; Jobbii never sees or stores them.
  • Location — if you use “Near me”, we use your device’s approximate location (or the city coordinates saved on your profile) to rank nearby jobs and candidates. You can decline location access and still use Jobbii.
  • Usage & device data — basic technical data such as app version and language, a push-notification token if you enable notifications, and error reports when something crashes.

2. How we use your information

  • To create and secure your account and verify your phone number or email address.
  • To build your profile and generate an AI-written profile and CV from the details you provide.
  • To match job seekers with relevant jobs (and employers with relevant candidates), prioritising nearby and well-fitting opportunities.
  • To let you apply to jobs and deliver your application, including your CV, to the relevant employer.
  • To carry a hiring process from application through screening, interview and offer to a confirmed hire, and to show each side where things stand.
  • To run an AI screening interview where an employer has enabled one, and to produce the summary and score that employer sees.
  • To coach you privately for a job you have applied to, when you choose to start a practice session.
  • To take payment for credits and keep the records we are required to keep.
  • To send you notifications about applications, matches, interviews, offers and status updates.
  • To keep the platform safe — including automated review of text and of uploaded images — and to prevent fraud, spam, and abuse.
  • To operate, maintain, and improve Jobbii.

3. AI processing

Jobbii uses artificial intelligence to write profile text, CVs and job adverts, to suggest roles, skills and salary ranges, to order jobs and candidates by fit, to read CVs emailed to an employer’s Jobbii address, to run and grade the optional voice screening interview, to coach a candidate preparing for a job, and to check text and images against our content rules. To do this, the relevant content is sent to our AI processing providers. We do not sell your data, and AI text is a suggestion you can review and edit.

4. Automated decisions

Match scores, rankings and screening scores order what people see; they never decide anything on their own, and every hiring decision on Jobbii is made by a person. Two automated actions do take effect directly: content that breaks our rules can be removed automatically, and a profile photo that appears to be of a young child is removed automatically. Both can be reviewed by a person — contact us and we will look at it.

5. AI screening interviews

Some employers turn on a short voice interview for their job. Taking it is your choice: you can decline, and declining is not a rejection. If you take it, the call is recorded and transcribed, and the employer who posted that job receives the recording, the transcript, a score and a summary. No other employer receives them, and the score is never shown to you — it is the employer’s assessment, not a rating of you that we publish. The call is handled by our voice provider on our behalf. If you would like a recording deleted, email us at hello@codeslicellc.com.

6. Interview practice is private

A practice session is between you and Jobbii. No employer can see that you started one, what you said in it, or the summary it produces — including the employer whose job you were preparing for. It is a rehearsal, and it stays one.

7. How we share information

We share information only in these situations:

  • With an employer, when you apply — that employer receives your profile and your CV. Employers browsing candidates do not see your phone number, your email or your precise location; those are shared once you apply to them, or if that employer pays to reveal them.
  • With an employer who is not yet on Jobbii, when you apply to a job we posted on their behalf — we send your profile and your CV to the business directly, by email and, where that market uses it, a WhatsApp message telling them applications are waiting. Those jobs are marked “Not on Jobbii yet” before you apply.
  • With an employer you are being hired by — the interview times, offer and hire record that belong to your application.
  • With an employer’s connected AI assistant, if they have connected one — it acts for that employer and can see what that employer can see, and nothing beyond their own account.
  • With service providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations — our cloud database and file storage (Supabase), email delivery (Resend), push notifications (Expo), our AI processing gateway, our voice interview provider (ElevenLabs), our payment providers (Wayl and Stripe), and our error-monitoring provider. These providers may process data outside United States.
  • For legal reasons — to comply with applicable law, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the public.

8. Jobs we post for employers

Some jobs on Jobbii are posted by us for a business that does not have a Jobbii account yet. They are marked “Not on Jobbii yet” on the job, and you are told before you apply. When you apply to one, we send your profile and your CV to that business at the contact details we hold for them, and they may contact you directly rather than through Jobbii. If nobody from that business signs in within 14 days we close the job and tell you the employer did not reply, so you are not left waiting on silence.

9. Your documents and privacy controls

CVs, offer documents and interview recordings are stored privately. They are shared only through short-lived, access-controlled links — with you, and with the employer the record belongs to. Employers browsing candidate profiles cannot see your phone number, email, or precise coordinates until you apply to them or pay to reveal them. A public profile link is created only if you turn one on, and turning it off revokes it immediately. We do not sell your personal information.

10. Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings; deleting your account removes your profile, your uploaded files and your associated content from Jobbii. Two things are kept on purpose: payment records, with your identity removed from them, because we are required to account for money received; and a one-way code derived from your phone number, which lets us recognise that an account existed without storing the number itself. That code cannot be turned back into your phone number, and we use it only to stop the free starting credits being claimed repeatedly and to keep account suspensions effective. We may also retain limited records where required by law or to resolve disputes.

11. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls, database row-level security, and private storage for sensitive documents. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and continually improve our safeguards.

12. Age

You must be at least 14 years old to create a job-seeker account on Jobbii, and employers may not advertise work on Jobbii for anyone under 15. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below these ages. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Your rights

You may access and update most of your information directly in the app, and you can delete your account at any time. To request access, correction, or deletion of data you cannot manage yourself, contact us at hello@codeslicellc.com.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by an in-app notice. Continued use of Jobbii after a change means you accept the updated policy.

15. Contact us
